About The Position

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Senior Discipline Civil Engineer with expertise in site development, stormwater management, utility design, and earthwork/grading design. This role involves leading projects as the main point of contact with clients, serving as a project manager and team lead, mentoring junior staff, and integrating into a larger team. The position also includes business development responsibilities such as preparing proposals and cross-selling multidiscipline services. The goal is to grow and mentor a collaborative team, market capabilities, and deliver high-quality engineering and consulting solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program
Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required with ability to be licensed in Washington State
Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in site development
Experience designing site development plans for permitting, bid, and construction
Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations
Experience with preparation of site or public improvement grading, stormwater management, and utility plans
Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
Strong project management skills
Strong mentoring skills
Strong business development skills
Client management skills experience

Experience collaborating with local and State agency/engineering community is a plus.
