Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering design.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation).
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and design techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed design and engineering on a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Lead and support projects through design development and completion, helping ensure projects are delivered within budget, timeline, and scope.
  • Prepare and review technical correspondence, engineering reports, calculations, specifications, and other project documentation.
  • Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation) to develop design solutions, perform engineering analysis, and produce maps, drawings, and takeoffs for cost estimating.
  • Conduct necessary calculations for mapping, design analysis, and construction staking to support project development.
  • Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff while working closely with a multi-disciplinary project team.
  • Ensure that designs are compliant with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control efforts as needed.
