Requirements

Associates degree or higher in Chemistry or equivalent, and/or at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Ability to work in teams under pressure and flexible to work different working overtime hours, if required or necessary.
Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills and listening ability to communicate effectively with peers, superiors, customers and vendors.
Knowledge and experience of safe operation of testing equipment and operating in an independent / chemistry / consultant laboratory.
U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.

Preferred 7+ years' experience in the testing field

Responsibilities

Analyze composites - Physical and chemical
Operation/Familiarity of analytical equipment such as ICP/OES/MS, Powder Characterization Equipment
Maintain the calibration of glassware, the instruments, and perform maintenance, cleaning, and checking of equipment
Coordinating with the other technicians in the team to carry out work as per the planning schedule
Manage verification and calibration of instruments.
