As Senior Chef Manager, you will guide both back-of-house and front-of-house operations, helping to create a welcoming environment while maintaining strong business performance. Requirements

  • Background in culinary arts or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience leading kitchen or café operations in a high-volume or hospitality-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP practices
  • Experience with inventory, purchasing, and cost management
  • Comfort working with financial reporting, budgets, and labor planning
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Collaborative leadership style with a focus on mentorship and team growth
  • Clear communication skills and a guest-first mindset
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs and work in a dynamic kitchen environment
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily culinary and café operations, including both kitchen and service areas
  • Develop menus that reflect seasonality, quality, and guest preferences
  • Monitor food, labor, and operational costs while maintaining high standards
  • Lead purchasing, inventory management, and vendor coordination
  • Support and coach team members through hiring, training, and ongoing development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration and growth
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
  • Participate in team meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage financial reporting, including P&L oversight and budget tracking
  • Partner with leadership on special projects and café enhancements
