We are seeking a highly capable Sub systems Diagnostics Engineer to lead the definition of diagnostic requirements and strategies for Vehicle Dynamics systems, including Driveline, Trailer Brakes, Vehicle Motion Control (VMC), and Vehicle Dynamic State Estimation (VDSE). This role is responsible for translating vehicle- and subsystem-level functional requirements into robust diagnostic solutions that enable fault detection, fault isolation, serviceability, safety, and long-term product quality. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of systems engineering, diagnostics architecture, embedded controls, software development, analytics, validation, and supplier management. The ideal candidate is a technically strong systems engineer who can operate effectively in ambiguous environments, decompose complex problems into structured diagnostic requirements, and influence technical direction across multiple organizations. Experience defining diagnostic strategies, DTC architecture, fault detection methods, diagnostic maturation and recovery logic, remedial actions, customer notifications, and diagnostic data requirements is highly desirable. This position requires close collaboration with Functional System Architects (FSAs), Diagnostic System Architects (DSAs), Software, Controls, Calibration, Validation, OBD, Quality, Safety, and supplier teams to ensure diagnostics are implemented consistently and effectively throughout the product development lifecycle.
