Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 15+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or alliances
  • Proven experience managing partners in B2B technology/software environments
  • Strong understanding of indirect sales models and partner‑led revenue motions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills

Nice To Haves

  • Good understanding of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) products across Aerospace & Defense, Automotive and Semiconductor industries
  • Good understanding of RFMW and High-Speed Digital Design and multi-physics product performance & virtual manufacturing simulations
  • Familiarity with OEMs, global technology partners, and Indian system integrators
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, presales, marketing, and product teams
  • Strong analytical skills for pipeline tracking and performance reporting

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the channel partner strategy for the Americas region
  • Identify, onboard, and enable new channel partners (resellers, SIs, VARs, distributors, alliances)
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key partner stakeholders
  • Drive partner‑led pipeline creation and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with sales teams to achieve regional and annual revenue targets
  • Track and forecast partner performance against KPIs and quotas
  • Conduct partner training on products, solutions, and value propositions
  • Ensure partners are equipped with sales tools, technical resources, and marketing collateral
  • Support joint account planning and deal qualification activities
  • Plan and execute joint go‑to‑market initiatives with partners
  • Support partner‑led events, webinars, and demand‑generation campaigns
  • Work closely with marketing teams to maximize partner visibility and engagement
  • Manage partner programs, compliance, and certifications
  • Resolve partner‑related escalations and conflicts effectively
  • Maintain accurate partner data in CRM and reporting systems
