Requirements

5 years of progressive foodservice management experience
Catering leadership experience is required
Strong leadership, organizational, and team‑development skills
Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities
Ability to manage multiple events while maintaining high standards and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

Lead, train, and mentor catering staff in service standards, menu presentation, and guest engagement
Oversee all internal and external catering operations for the account
Manage event labor and food costs to ensure financial performance and accountability
Build and maintain strong client relationships across campus departments and external partners
Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to develop innovative, on‑trend menus tailored to a diverse client base
Ensure every event reflects Chartwells’ commitment to quality, hospitality, and consistency
