Requirements

  • Board Certified in Ophthalmology
  • Fellowship trained in Cornea
  • Required: 5+ years of experience (following completion of training)
  • Eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia
  • This position is eligible for H1-B Visa sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in academic settings preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide cornea procedures like DMEK, DSAEK, PK, refractive surgery (LASIK/PRK), collagen cross-linking, and cataract surgeries to a diverse patient population
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff with administrative assistance and a technician
  • Document care using Epic
  • Educate and mentor residents and students
