Aon is looking for a Senior Casualty Claims Consultant! This position is for a workers’ compensation professional, however, experience with auto and general liability is a plus. The role is primarily remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in Virtual NJ. Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in workers’ compensation claims management, with knowledge of casualty lines including auto and general liability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, advocate for clients, and collaborate effectively with clients, carriers, TPAs, Account Executives, and internal partners.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic service plans, managing budgets, and delivering high-quality consulting services on time and in alignment with client objectives.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate claims data, identify trends, conduct claim reviews, and recommend strategies that improve claim outcomes and reduce total cost of risk.
  • Proven project management and process improvement capabilities, including managing multiple priorities, documenting action plans, applying best practices, and driving consistent service delivery.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Proven performer with strong technical knowledge and work experience adjusting or managing workers compensation claims or possess multi-line claims experience with emphasis on casualty lines of coverage.
  • Retain proficiency as an insurance professional while maintaining clear and effective communication, both in writing and verbally.
  • Fluent in Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Identify client exposures and provide customized casualty consulting services for clients to help them reduce their Total Cost of Risk.
  • Ensuring the highest level of service from claims administrator(s) and carrier partners.
  • Improve client claim outcomes by examining and analyzing key elements and related costs of their claims programs and build best practice-oriented approaches to claims cost containment.
  • Introduce appropriate Aon resources and provide project management to ensure commitments are met and results are achieved.
  • Establish project plans and budgets.
  • May require limited involvement in business development opportunities as dictated by geographic needs.
