About The Position
The Senior Casino Host is responsible for providing excellent guest service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and presenting a professional appearance. This role involves recognizing frequent guests, staying informed about company promotions and events, and communicating guest needs to supervisors. Teamwork and cooperation with colleagues are essential, as is maintaining a positive attitude and accepting constructive criticism. The position also focuses on productivity and profitability by ensuring a hazard-free workplace, reporting pertinent information, cooperating with surveillance, and improving job knowledge. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and the established work schedule is required, along with maintaining an orderly work area and prioritizing safety and accident prevention. The Senior Casino Host may also be asked to perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Requirements
- Have excellent communication and customer relations’ skills.
- Have excellent communication with all team members.
- Have knowledge of organizational skills to assist with events and scheduling knowledge to assist manager at peak periods.
- Computer knowledge.
- Works closely with department manager on all issues.
- Past experience in Casino Host position.
- MUST BE ABLE TO BE LICENSED BY STATE OF MISSISSIPPI FOR GAMING BADGE.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the confidentiality of guests lists for telemarketing.
- Ensure motivation, discipline, and training are ongoing.
- Work with hotel desk on casino-block rooms.
- Handle guest requests and complaints as received. Inform manager when request or complaint is above their approval.
- Attend all tournaments and functions to interface with VIP guests and offer assistance as needed.
- Keep manager informed of all activity within the department to ensure their assigned shift runs smoothly and is performing within the department and company guidelines.
- Ensure communications are maintained at the highest level.
- Monitor customer trends of assigned guests, as assigned to host in tracking system.
- Increase profitability of casino revenues through established customer base, as assigned to host in ACSC system.
- Increase casino rated play and Club Fitz membership through on-casino-floor selling of card membership.
- Cleans/keeps office and public areas neat.
