This role is in support of Cencora's patient and provider support and pharma commercialization services in Canada marketed through our Innomar Strategies business. The Senior Caseworker will manage a patient caseload larger than their caseworker counterparts, act as a reimbursement expert in their assigned territory, and provide assistance to other caseworkers with complex reimbursement, insurance, benefit investigation, special authorization, and appeal requests. They will also participate in special projects, provide daily support to Associate Program Managers, assist management with reports and program-related tasks, and work with management to develop program protocols and SOPs. Additionally, they will lead training for new caseworkers, interact with insurance companies, physician's offices, and healthcare professionals, assist patients with clinic and pharmacy selections, generate drug orders, and adhere to general company processes. The role involves implementing call-centre programs, providing telephone support for funding and access issues, compliance programs, administering case-management protocols, implementing market research initiatives, documenting activities in a database, attending training, and reporting Adverse Events. The Senior Caseworker will also be assigned other duties as required.
