About The Position

We are looking for a seasoned and proactive Senior CAS Associate to join our growing Client Accounting Services (CAS) team in our Jackson office. This is a full-time, salaried, 100% in-office or hybrid role designed for an accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on, engaging in client interaction, and leading others. In this role, you will serve as a trusted accounting partner to a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering accurate financial statements, providing practical insights, and helping businesses operate more confidently. You will also play a key role in reviewing the work of team members and supporting their development, all while maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients. Requirements

Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
3–5 years of public accounting experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
Prior experience in Client Accounting Services (CAS) or outsourced accounting environments.

Responsibilities

Manage monthly and quarterly close processes for assigned clients, ensuring financial information is accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for client review and discussion.
Perform complex account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and payroll accounts, and investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Support client onboarding activities by assisting with the setup of new accounting systems, chart of accounts, and the transition of historical financial data.
Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients, answering accounting questions and supporting ongoing client relationships with a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
Utilize advanced accounting tools and technology, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, to support efficient workflows, accurate reporting, and client deliverables.
