Part Time Senior Caregiver – Brookfield, CT
About The Position
A welcoming, smoke-free home in Brookfield, CT is seeking a patient, reliable, and attentive caregiver for an independent, cognitively sharp 86-year-old woman. She uses a walker for mobility support and is preparing for an upcoming hip replacement surgery in 4–6 weeks. The home is equipped with stair chair lifts. The schedule is 5 to 7 days per week, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily, for approximately 25–35 hours per week. Requirements
- Prior experience in senior caregiving, mobility assistance, and post-surgical recovery support.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, active auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for transportation and errands.
- Patient, dependable, and attentive personality.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check.

- CPR and First Aid certified.
Responsibilities
- Provide gentle mobility assistance, fall prevention, and safety supervision around the home.
- Assist with in-home care and recovery support following upcoming hip replacement surgery.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Handle grocery shopping, local errands, and pharmacy pickups.
- Provide safe transportation and escort to medical appointments and local senior center activities.
- Offer warm, supportive companionship.
Benefits
