About The Position
Home Care Assistance of Greater Burlington is seeking a Senior Caregiver to join their Award-Winning team. This role involves providing non-medical, in-home support to seniors in the community, focusing on companionship, personal care, and health and wellness needs. The position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to create lasting relationships with seniors and their loved ones. Home Health Aides provide exceptional in-home and companion experiences and assist with services detailed in customized personal care service plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect personal care to clients in the home setting
- Establish and maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers
- Perform duties as assigned on the personal care service plan
- Help keep the client's environment clean and organized
- Remind the client to take self-administered medications
