About The Position

CompassCare is a concierge private-duty home care company dedicated to helping older adults live safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes. Our caregivers work alongside a full care team and receive ongoing support to provide exceptional client care. Our caregivers are empathetic, kind, and compassionate. They are passionate about caring for older adults and about helping our clients stay active and engaged. Our caregivers are curious and are always eager to learn more about our clients and about how to provide top level care.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Minimum 2 years of one-on-one senior caregiving experience
• A valid driver's license and willingness to drive clients using your own vehicle or the client's vehicle is a plus.
• Reliable transportation (own vehicle preferred)
• HHA, CNA, PCA, or PCT Certification
• CPR Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain before starting)
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Kind, optimistic, empathetic, dependable, and professional
• Passionate about working with older adults

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level care, companionship, and engagement
• Assist with enrichment activities, outings, and social event
• Accompany clients to appointments when needed
• Assist with personal care
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Follow care plans
• Complete daily reporting and communicate with the Care Team
