About The Position

Join one of New England's premier academic medical centers as a Senior Cardiac Sonographer within the Non-Invasive Cardiology Department. This role involves performing advanced echocardiography, stress echocardiography, dobutamine studies, vascular studies, Holter analysis, and cardiac stress testing. You will serve as a senior clinical resource, mentoring sonographers, EKG technicians, fellows, and students, while also supporting daily department operations. The position includes independently managing specialized imaging for the Amyloid Clinic and participating in advanced cardiac research studies. Additionally, you will assist with workflow coordination, scheduling challenges, quality initiatives, software troubleshooting, and departmental leadership responsibilities. Collaboration with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams is essential for delivering exceptional cardiovascular diagnostic services.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Two-Year Cardiac Sonography or Related Allied Health Program REQUIRED
  • Minimum One Year of Hospital Echocardiography Experience (Excluding Internship) REQUIRED
  • Five or More Years of Stress Lab Experience REQUIRED
  • Experience Working with Amyloid Patients REQUIRED
  • Strong Knowledge of Cardiology, Medical Terminology, Physics, Biology, and Anatomy REQUIRED
  • Strong Communication, Teaching, Leadership, and Technical Skills REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

  • ARDMS Echocardiography Certification or Registry Eligibility Preferred
  • Experience Performing Stress Echo, Dobutamine Echo, Holter Analysis, and Cardiac Stress Testing Preferred

Responsibilities
