About The Position

At General Motors, our product teams are redefining mobility. Through a human-centered design process, we create vehicles and experiences that are designed not just to be seen, but to be felt. We’re turning today’s impossible into tomorrow’s standard —from breakthrough hardware and battery systems to intuitive design, intelligent software, and next-generation safety and entertainment features. Every day, our products move millions of people as we aim to make driving safer, smarter, and more connected, shaping the future of transportation on a global scale. We are seeking two exceptional candidates to join the Vehicle Dynamics and Chassis Controls team as Senior Calibration Technical Specialists at GM’s Milford Proving Ground. One role will be as a Diagnostics Calibration Technical Specialist, with potential areas of ownership including AWD, Driveline, Trailering, State Estimation, and Chassis ECUs. The other Technical Specialist will be responsible for Trailer Braking and Driver Mode Control Calibration. Calibration Technical Specialists are responsible for indirectly leading a team of Active Chassis Calibration Engineers to produce high-quality, on-time deliverables for all vehicle programs using common methods, processes, and procedures. The selected candidate will also have a unique opportunity to influence and develop future Active Chassis architectures and controls strategies. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive experience in both calibration and algorithm development, as well as demonstrated leadership, planning, communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills.
