About The Position

Perform structural analysis to lead and execute the development of new architectures and subsequent variants. Drive the design and performance through appropriate analyses, deep dive efficient and integrated design solutions, provide clear design direction and confirm performance. Support hardware elimination through leadership in the Global Focus Groups and drive method development. Create and execute Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and quasi static analysis plans for assigned projects. Lead internal resources and CAE suppliers to meet program milestones and deliverables. Multiple positions available. Hybrid Work Policy – 3 days In-Office, 2 Days Remote – Must be able to report to local office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field of study
  • Five (5) years of experience as a CAE Engineer, Automotive Engineer, or related role.
  • Three (3) years of experience with LS-Dyna and ABAQUS
  • Three (3) years of experience with Understanding of FMVSS requirements
  • Three (3) years of experience with Developing and enhancing new virtual techniques to replace physical test-based methods.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Hypermesh and Optistruct
  • Two (2) years of experience with Refining and improving automotive structure designs via FEA and Quasi static simulations
  • Two (2) years of experience with Using optimization techniques to ensure cost and mass efficient structural solutions with high reliability.
