About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Senior CAD Technician to join their Remediation team in the Buffalo, New York office. This role will involve working on a variety of projects across AECOM's Environment, Water, and Transportation business lines, collaborating with a diverse team of technical leaders. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise, develop client relationships, and communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and management. A commitment to team success, rigorous application of safety policies, and effective management of technical, cost, schedule, and quality elements of project delivery are expected, all within the AECOM Quality Management System.

Requirements

HS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid U.S Driver's License
Must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree in engineering, Design, Environmental Science or related field
7+ years of experience working in an environmental consulting firm
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, and OpenRoads.
Experience with survey and grading design.
Experience with REVIT.
Experience with BIM. Able to produce construction documents in BIM environments from start to finish with limited assistance.

Responsibilities

Perform as a senior resource for CAD drafting/modeling at the project level.
Prepare high-quality design deliverables.
Perform CAD drafting/modeling in a manner which adheres to accepted engineering practices and standards, as well as company and client standards.
Assist in the development, implementation and deployment of CAD drafting/modeling and survey standards on an office level.
Assist in the training and development of other CAD professionals.
Work closely with design professionals at a project level to produce deliverables with minimal supervision.
