Senior CAD Designer
About The Position
The Senior CAD Designer will provide technical AutoCAD Civil 3D support of Civil Engineering Water/Wastewater design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team to produce design/construction drawings and specifications on some REALLY COOL projects! This person will work in a project team setting and support the designers and engineers with development of AutoCAD drawing files. Manage project assignments and coordinates with other CAD staff. Produce plans, profiles, cross-sections, elevations, structure sections, construction details, references, and perspective drawings. Manage CAD drawing files for production, deliverables and archiving. Prepare drawings for various members of the project team. Coordinate with others outside of the project team as necessary for project development.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and college level CAD classes
- 10 + years of experience using AutoCAD (2022 (or newer)
- Must be methodical, precise, and consistent but enjoys some variety in work schedule and can tolerate change
- Enjoys working alone when required but can work effectively on a project team
- Good technical design skills required
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Revit preferred
- Experience working on water infrastructure projects (i.e. water distribution and wastewater collection/pumping projects) preferred
