About The Position

ImFusion GmbH is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to contribute to the development of software for medical imaging, computer vision, AI, and robotics. The role involves developing technology that merges live ultrasound with pre-operative imaging to aid in image-guided interventions. Projects may include medical image visualization, segmentation, registration, fusion of live ultrasound with pre-operative imaging, real-time image processing, ML integration, and development of core framework components. Depending on interests and experience, there are opportunities for project ownership, product decision input, direct customer interaction, and representing ImFusion at conferences. No prior ultrasound experience is necessary. The position offers fully remote work within the EU or the option to work from the Munich office.

Requirements

Excellent software engineering skills in C++
MSc, PhD, or equivalent industry experience in Medical Imaging, Computer Vision, Machine Learning / Deep Learning, 3D Image Processing, or a related field
Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both engineers and customers
Ownership mindset and willingness to drive projects forward
Professional proficiency in English

Nice To Haves

Experience with Linux and Windows development
Familiarity with CUDA / OpenCL, Python, Qt and/or CMake
Experience with DevOps/CI, real-time systems and/or machine learning
Exposure to medical imaging technologies

Responsibilities
