Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, this role is primarily responsible for ensuring supplier performance aligns with business expectations. It involves assisting stakeholders in establishing and managing resolutions for part availability issues. The role also supports manufacturing location operations teams in achieving their KPIs and business objectives, particularly concerning supplier capacity, incoming quality, and supplier-related warranty issues. A deep understanding of the supply base and the ability to influence it to consistently receive the required level of service are essential. This position acts as a crucial link between the category management team and the business, supporting any implemented change management programs.
