About The Position

The Senior Buyer – Finished Vehicles Transportation role involves leading strategic sourcing for Finished Vehicles (FVL) transport and logistic commodities. This includes managing tender strategy and planning, and utilizing collaborative project management with internal stakeholders to negotiate contracts that drive productivity and quality. The role also requires driving analysis and scenario strategy, actively participating in negotiation guide preparation and supplier negotiations, and managing crises. A key aspect is generating market intelligence and analysis to anticipate and mitigate supply risks in the medium/long term. Additionally, the position involves managing and animating the supplier panel to develop relationships with major and strategic suppliers at both strategic and operational levels, aiming to achieve expected productivity and quality. The role also focuses on developing ideas to improve operational efficiency and add value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or closely related field
  • 3 years of work experience in Purchasing, Transport & Logistics and/or Supply Chain
  • Mandatory fluency in English (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams primarily operating in English
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategically
  • Strong communication, presentation and commodity leadership skills
  • Skilled at performing quantitative analysis
  • Well organized, rigorous, self-motivated & adaptable

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or closely related field from an ABET accredited university
  • Proven experience in project coordination and management
  • Strong Knowledge of digital sourcing techniques and platforms
