About The Position

The Senior Buyer, Components is responsible for the procurement and operational management of JPMS packaging component suppliers — including bottles, closures, pumps, tubes, cartons, and labels — ensuring continuity of supply, achievement of service expectations, and execution of procurement objectives. This role serves as the primary day-to-day liaison between JPMS and assigned component suppliers, supporting ongoing production, commercialization activities, and inventory management across the business. This position also owns component specification, tooling, and mold records for assigned categories, partnering with Quality and R&D to qualify new components and coordinate first article inspections before production release. As a senior individual contributor, the Senior Buyer is expected to manage supplier relationships and category decisions with minimal oversight, escalating supply risk, quality, and commercial issues to Procurement leadership as needed. This position also serves as a key analytical resource within the Purchasing organization by developing reports, evaluating supplier performance, monitoring lead time trends, analyzing cost impacts, and providing recommendations that improve service, reduce risk, and support business objectives.
