Dominion Energy is seeking a Senior Business Technology Analyst to join their IT Project Management Office (PMO). This role is crucial for supporting the intake, planning, execution, and governance of technology initiatives. The analyst will collaborate with project managers, scrum masters, IT leadership, and finance & accounting teams to ensure project and portfolio information is accurate, complete, and aligned with organizational priorities. Key responsibilities include facilitating the transition of ideas into approved projects, coordinating intake activities, gathering and validating business information, supporting prioritization, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The role also provides project coordination and operational support to project managers, including project setup, financial alignment, and adherence to PMO standards. The Senior Business Technology Analyst acts as a liaison between business areas, project teams, and financial organizations to support project budgeting, forecasting, capitalization, financial tracking, and project accounting. They will review portfolio data, develop reporting and dashboards, identify process improvement opportunities, and make recommendations to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency. Additionally, the role assists with PMO governance, project lifecycle management, onboarding and training, toll administration, and continuous improvement initiatives. Experienced analysts may guide less experienced team members and serve as a trusted resource.
