About The Position

This job supports one or more analytical aspects of the application product life cycle, including capability enablement with cross-team dependencies within a product scope. Uses significant judgement and discretion to collaborate with customers on complex issues in order to understand capability needs, gather project specifications, create business cases and cost sheet analysis, translate high-level business needs into detailed requirements for new capabilities (and change request/enhancements on existing capabilities), analyze data to determine business problems, trends, or opportunities for process improvements, create/execute test cases, provide root cause analysis and corrective action plan, verify delivery of customer needs, and ensure quality delivery. Also responsible for identification, documentation, and resolution of risks, defects and issues. Analyzes market trends for competitive insight to correlate into business value statements. Uses functional and organizational knowledge to mentor Associate and Intermediate Business Systems Analysts. Leads project teams or actively participate as subject matter expert (SME) on moderately complex projects (which are cross functional, with potential regulatory risk exposure, customer service & financial impacts). Acts as face to the customer. Resolves very complex issues (may involve multiple systems) while understanding potential regulatory risk exposure and customer service & financial impacts. Acts as a SME on how moderately complex new enhancements/applications are developed using advanced level of understanding of end-to-end process and clear understanding of potential integration issues. Requires advanced level of understanding the end systems impact of changes across multiple/diverse systems (including regulatory risk exposure, customer service & financial impacts).

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
5 - 7 years in IS/IT.
Planview Portfolios Administration.
Lifecycle and Scripted Dialog configuration.
Data governance and platform cleanup.
Executive dashboard and reporting development.
Environment promotion and release management.
Security role and access management.
Business process analysis and stakeholder engagement.
Integration support and troubleshooting.
Multi-product Planview ecosystem knowledge (Portfolios, EA, AgilePlace, ProjectPlace).
Governance operating model participation.

Planview Portfolios Administration: User, group, and role administration, Security model configuration, Access provisioning and deprovisioning, Screen, menu, and navigation configuration, Object and attribute management, Lookup and reference table administration, Organizational structure management, Financial structure administration, Resource management configuration, Portfolio hierarchy management.
Workflow & Automation Configuration: Lifecycle management, Scripted Dialogs, Conditional logic, Automated notifications, Approval workflows, Stage-gate processes, Demand management workflows, Project intake processes, Governance checkpoints, Automated field updates.
Planview Reporting & Analytics: Developing and maintaining Planview reports, Executive dashboards, Operational dashboards, Governance dashboards, Portfolio health reporting, Resource utilization reporting, Financial management reporting, Data quality reporting.
Data Governance & Platform Quality: Supporting data quality initiatives, Field rationalization efforts, Configuration governance, Reference data management, Taxonomy management, Audit reviews, Compliance reporting, Identifying unused data structures, Reviewing obsolete fields and forms, Reducing technical debt, Maintaining platform standards, Supporting governance processes.
Multi-Product Planview Experience: Knowledge of Planview Enterprise Architecture (EA) including Application inventories, Technology inventories, Business capabilities, Capability mapping, Architecture roadmaps, Investment planning, Application lifecycle management. Experience with Planview AgilePlace including Board administration, Kanban configuration, Team workflows, Value stream management, Metrics and reporting, Work item configuration. Experience with Planview ProjectPlace including Workspace administration, User provisioning, Collaboration features, Document management, Board configuration, Reporting.
Integrations: Supporting integrations between Planview and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Jira, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint.
Release & Environment Management: Experience with Development environments, Test environments, Production environments, Configuration migrations, Release planning, Regression testing, SaaS release reviews. Evaluating quarterly Planview releases, Impact assessments, Regression testing coordination, Promotion governance, Release documentation.
Governance & Operating Model Support: Participating in or supporting Platform governance boards, Change Advisory Boards (CAB), Enhancement intake processes, Prioritization reviews, Platform roadmaps, Standards reviews, Operational reviews.
