About The Position

As the Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will liaise between the team and business stakeholders for functionality enhancements and new developments. You will be a part of an exciting team responsible for translating concepts and requirements into client focused and effective system-based solutions. You will contribute to complex and diverse initiatives through formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a comprehensive understanding of the applicable business applications.

Requirements

  • You have working knowledge of Agile, Acceptance Test Driven Development or Test Driven Development (ATDD/TDD).
  • At least one of the Guidewire Insurance Suite products - PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter, with a preference to PolicyCenter.
  • Experience with automation, particularly test automation tools such as Selenium and/or Playwright.
  • JIRA, JIRA Service Desk and Confluence or similar tools.
  • You have five years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
  • You have completed post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • You have advanced knowledge of Agile practices, SDLC methodologies, processes, and tools as well as project planning methodologies and Lean process improvement tools and techniques.
  • Have strong facilitation, documentation and communication skills to interact with diverse groups to validate business processes, identify technical solutions, and document processes and outcomes.
  • Have a strong background in testing approaches and best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter and integrations would be an asset.
  • Having work experience in an Insurance Environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in our strategic transition from Selenium to Playwright, helping shape the future of test automation across the department.
  • Partner with delivery teams to identify, prioritize, and maintain critical release regression test suites, while driving the investigation and resolution of test failures.
  • Champion governance, processes, and overall accountability for Guidewire Cloud Non-Production Environments (NPEs) to ensure their stability, reliability, and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the implementation and adoption of the Policy History Migration Tool, enabling the secure and compliant replication of production policy data for testing and validation purposes.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in testing, environment management, and delivery practices.
