About The Position

The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional partners with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities, define solutions, and drive strategic initiatives that advance operational and clinical outcomes. This role is responsible for analyzing business processes, user needs, and system capabilities; documenting requirements; performing cost-benefit and value assessments; and translating business objectives into detailed system specifications. The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional leads and supports moderately complex to highly complex initiatives where success requires in-depth analysis, sound judgment, and evaluation of multiple variables and dependencies. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to develop business and functional requirements, facilitate solution design, coordinate testing strategies and plans, create standard operating procedures, and establish sustainable support models. Through strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, this position helps ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value and align with organizational priorities. The Senior Business Systems Analyst formulates and defines systems scope, objectives, and solutions based on user needs, business priorities, and a thorough understanding of applicable technologies, business systems, and industry requirements. The role devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex business problems while considering system capabilities, operational constraints, scalability, and desired outcomes. This position validates expected and realized benefits from implemented solutions and contributes to the development of departmental strategies and technology roadmaps. Acting as a technical lead and trusted advisor, the Senior Business Systems Analyst partners closely with project teams, business leaders, vendors, and technology stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery and adoption. The role exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives, evaluating alternatives, recommending solutions, and driving assignments to completion with minimal direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or comparative working experience
  • 5-7+ years of business systems analysis, healthcare technology, or related experience
  • Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum or hybrid project delivery environments
  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
  • Experience in problem analysis and process
  • 3 or more years' working experience with Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams and collaboration platforms
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

  • Background working with Portfolio prioritization, Business case development, Value realization, Process improvement initiatives, Operational analytics, Healthcare technology evaluation, Stakeholder facilitation and executive presentations
  • Six Sigma certification
