About The Position

GDIT is currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support our PACER Modernization Program. This role involves analyzing user needs, documenting business rules, and tracking requirements, development, and testing using Jira. The analyst will perform functional allocation to identify tasks and resources, and must possess a BS in an IT-related field.

Requirements

Minimum of ten years' experience, of which at least eight years must be specialized in IT system functional analysis, preferably in Cloud Modernization projects.
Must possess superior functional knowledge of task order specific requirements and have experience in developing functional requirements for complex integrated IT systems.
Must have a BS in an IT related field.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Mainframe Business Process Re-engineering
Experience in zCloud and AWS Cloud Modernization
Experience in Agile Methodology to track requirements, development, and testing using Jira and facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives
Knowledge in Business Process Automation (BPA) tools, BPMN, CMN and DMN models
Knowledge in leveraging Generative AI to document Business Rules and Requirements
Knowledge in multiple database technologies like DB2, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc.

Responsibilities

Track requirements, development, and testing using Jira and facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives.
Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
