About The Position

DPP is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry. This is a 6-month W2 contract role, with an onsite work location in Columbia, SC. The role involves working within Agile teams, participating in daily stand-ups, and utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence for progress tracking, user story documentation, and collaboration with developers, testers, and business stakeholders. The position requires strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to a business audience and contributing to team presentations. While guidance from senior team members may be available, this role expects individuals to take ownership of tasks, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the delivery of scalable, cloud-based analytics solutions. Key responsibilities include defining customer needs in a technical context, ensuring proposed cloud technical solutions meet objectives, and providing guidance for large cloud IT projects, contributing to both technical execution and overall initiative success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other job-related field; OR 4 years of job-related work experience; OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or other job-related degree.
  • 6 years of IT business analysis experience.
  • Agile Product Owner or Agile Business Analyst Experience.
  • Cloud hosted application experience.
  • Medicare Experience.
  • Jira/Confluence.
  • TestRail/ALM.

Nice To Haves

  • Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
  • Understanding DevOps practices and help in managing cloud-based analytics pipelines and deployments.
  • Experience with version control, automated testing, and deployment of workflows.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), HIPAA, LOMA.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily stand-ups within Agile teams.
