About The Position

SourceAmerica is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst, Finance & Operations, to join the Information Technology team. This role provides Level 1 and Level 2 functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and related business applications, with limited support for Dynamics 365 Sales and Marketing. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will help resolve user issues, support financial and operational processes, and recommend opportunities to improve system usage and functionality. This position partners closely with Finance teams, including Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, as well as other departments where F&O-related support is needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, Business Analytics/Data Analytics.
  • 5+ years in application support or ERP business analysis.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) functional support.
  • ERP application support and business systems analysis.
  • Finance workflow knowledge, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Procurement, Project Accounting, and Invoicing.
  • Accounting principles and financial transaction validation.
  • Ticket triage, incident resolution, and SLA-based support.
  • Troubleshooting data, configuration, workflow, usability, and security issues.
  • User provisioning, access management, permissions, and role-based security.
  • Business process analysis and improvement recommendations.
  • Bug documentation, requirements gathering, and UAT support.
  • Job aid, process, and system documentation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, Product, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excel, reporting, and data analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Azure DevOps or similar work tracking tools preferred.
  • Dynamics 365 Sales/CRM familiarity preferred.
  • Experience supporting finance, accounting, procurement, or shared services teams.
  • Strong Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with financial dimensions, workflows, security roles, approvals, and transaction validation in D365 F&O.
  • Experience working in enterprise systems environments with cross-functional IT, Finance, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar work tracking tools.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for D365 F&O support requests.
  • Triage and resolve tickets aligned to priority levels.
  • Diagnose issues across data, security, workflows, and usability.
  • Support AP, AR, GL, project accounting, procurement, and invoicing.
  • Validate transactions and system outputs.
  • Support financial dimension configuration, validation, and mapping.
  • Analyze system issues and business workflows.
  • Document bugs and recommend improvements.
  • Provide recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Support UAT for fixes and approved changes.
  • User provisioning and access management.
  • Employee and contractor setup.
  • Role-based security troubleshooting.
  • Maintain job aids and documentation.
  • Identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, and Product teams.
