About The Position

KBR, Inc. is seeking a highly capable and organized Senior Business Support Specialist to join our team in Beavercreek, Ohio. This position supports the Talent and Readiness Section, Operations Branch, Advanced Battle Management Systems Division under the Department of the Air Force Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management Portfolio Acquisition Executive by serving as a key operations integrator between Division Leadership and supported Branches—driving the seamless execution of acquisition efforts, enhancing team support capabilities, and streamlining program office functions to ensure mission success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field (or 10 years of relevant professional experience).
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, systems, and stakeholders.
  • Experience tracking action items, managing taskers, and coordinating boards (such as a Resource Management Board).
  • High attention to detail for maintaining accurate organizational charts, master/recall rosters, and distribution lists.
  • Demonstrated experience managing travel through the Defense Travel System (DTS) and overseeing the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) program.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with SAP eligibility

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and documentation.
  • Ability to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency.
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a government or defense setting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative support, manpower management, or talent management, preferably within a Department of War (DoW) or federal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding, security processing, and team integration activities to ensure readiness and cohesion.
  • Manage and maintain organizational charts, master rosters, recall rosters, phone rosters, and distribution lists.
  • Oversee manpower management, the civilian nomination process, and employee awards programs.
  • Handle all on-boarding and off-boarding procedures.
  • Manage SharePoint, Teams, Jira, and Confluence environments to support collaboration and data organization.
  • Track action items, manage taskers, and support oversight boards, including the Resource Management Board, to maintain operational cadence.
  • Manage the Department of the Air Force training program for personnel and oversee timekeeping and attendance using ATAAPS.
  • Coordinate all travel arrangements through the Defense Travel System (DTS) and manage the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) program.
