About The Position

As a Senior Business Solutions Specialist, you’ll sit at the strategic intersection of client success and technical architecture, translating complex business imperatives into high-impact solutions. You will exert a direct, measurable influence on our clients' decision-making capabilities and roadmap starting from your second week. Maxa has solved the hard technical problem: transforming fragmented ERP data into CFO-trusted insights in weeks instead of months, years. We have the product, methodology and the technology. This is a Post-Series A startup. Montreal-based. Hybrid (Tues–Thurs downtown).

Requirements

• 5-10 years delivering complex data/AI implementations (consulting, product delivery, professional services)
• Workshop facilitation expert. You’ve run countless discovery sessions and know how to extract business narratives, not just list requirements
• Mastery of accounting principles and operational analysis through financial modelling, performance metrics, cost analysis, and more.
• Comfortable with SQL and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
• Deep fluency with financial & operational systems (ERP, CRM, WMS) and operational processes (O2C, P2P, R2R)
• Client relationship mastery: You’re a storyteller, have managed C-suite expectations and navigated tough escalations.
• Bilingual (French & English)

Responsibilities

• Deliver concurrent customer projects from kickoff to production
• Build the delivery engine while shipping: refine our methodology as we scale it
• Ship Maxa's product with an exceptional customer experience that makes clients advocates.
• Partner with executive-level clients to understand their strategic objectives and where Maxa can accelerate business insights.
• Synthesize and validate rigorous business requirements through high-level stakeholder interviews, business process deep-dives and technical workshops.
• Translate multi-layered business needs into high-precision, insight-driven functional specifications.
• Define and deliver actionable insights from financial and operational data.
• Build the Knowledge Library that makes each delivery faster than the last.
• Evangelize the "same but different" philosophy by showing the teams how to leverage patterns instead of reinventing everything.
• Capture reusable patterns in our Playbook and turn every delivery into training data for the next.
• Use AI boldly to automate workflows that 10x our delivery speed.
• Obsess over the metrics that matter: cycle time, first-pass quality, customer CSAT.
