About The Position

CRNCY Group is a leading fintech holding and investment company focused on empowering the Caribbean and Latin America by improving access to credit for underserved populations. They utilize proprietary technology, alternative data, and AI to overcome challenges faced by traditional institutions. The Senior Business Process Analyst role is a product-adjacent position, working closely with the Product team to map internal processes and translate them into functional requirements for SaaS implementations and proprietary builds. This role is crucial for architecting internal workflows that enable the creation of scalable solutions and assisting leadership in workflow optimization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a Product or Business Analyst role, ideally in a Lead Analyst or Product Manager capacity.
  • Extensive experience working with distributed cross-functional teams.
  • Strong grasp of modern business software/tooling outside the Microsoft stack (e.g., Miro, Figma).
  • Impeccable writing skills.
  • Leverage AI to accelerate workflow, automate documentation, and solve problems with 10x efficiency.
  • Driven by the internal customer experience.
  • Defend ideas with data, but be open to learning from others.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years working in a financial services or fintech company analyzing and documenting complex workflows and business processes.
  • Experience at both the startup and enterprise level.
  • Proven experience optimizing business-critical workflows.
  • Served as lead analyst for large software implementation engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Deep-dive into internal workflows (e.g., loan origination to collections) and map them with precision.
  • Convert complex business processes into clear, functional requirements and user stories for engineering teams and SaaS implementation partners.
  • Extract requirements from business users, even those who may be poor communicators or unfamiliar with Product methodology, turning pain points into actionable technical specifications.
  • Participate in high-level architecture conversations, understanding data flow between systems to ensure process designs are technically feasible.
  • Create pragmatic documentation that balances brevity and detail.
