About The Position

Dominion Energy is seeking a Senior Business Performance Analyst to partner with business unit leadership to collect, analyze, interpret, and present safety performance data. This role is crucial for supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement. The analyst will develop and maintain safety metrics, dashboards, reports, and automated reporting processes to identify trends, assess risk, measure program effectiveness, and support strategic safety initiatives. Key responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and integrity of safety data, providing actionable insights through analytics and data visualization, identifying opportunities to improve business processes, developing automated tools, supporting milestone and regulatory reporting, and performing varied business, operational, and economic analyses. The role also involves serving as a resource to coworkers, providing technical guidance, and contributing to the advancement of safety programs through data-driven decision making.

Requirements

  • 5-6+ years of relevant directly related work experience.
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.
  • Effective analytical skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Microsoft Excel, SQL, Microsoft Power BI).
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights effectively.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, trend analysis, and predictive analytics.
