About The Position

We are a specialty vaccine company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases addressing unmet medical needs. We have leveraged our expertise and capabilities both to commercialize three vaccines, including the world’s first and only chikungunya vaccine, and to rapidly advance a broad range of vaccine candidates into and through the clinic, including candidates against Lyme disease and Zika. Valneva USA is focused on the marketing and distribution of vaccines for Japanese encephalitis and chikungunya. The Senior Business Operations Manager serves as a U.S. strategic leader responsible for overseeing 3PL and end-to-end vaccine logistics operations across the market. This role drives operational excellence by optimizing distribution networks, enhancing supply reliability, and delivering sustainable cost efficiencies while ensuring full compliance with FDA, CDC, and other applicable regulatory requirements. As a key member of the U.S. leadership team, this position aligns logistics and commercial operations with broader corporate strategy to support product launches, government contracting, and ongoing lifecycle management within the vaccine portfolio. The role champions cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and Global Supply teams to ensure seamless execution. With a strong focus on scalability and agility, the Senior Business Operations Manager leverages data-driven insights, process standardization, and continuous improvement methodologies to strengthen supply continuity, mitigate risk, and enable long-term growth in a highly regulated and mission-critical environment.

  • Oversees 3PL distribution operations, including inbound/outbound logistics, cold-chain integrity, inventory control, returns management, and sales order administration
  • Partners with global supply chain on demand planning, transfer pricing, U.S. Customs coordination, and inventory optimization
  • Minimizes expiry risk and protects supply continuity
  • Leads engagement with wholesalers and distributors
  • Ensures contract compliance, inventory discipline, issue resolution, and regulatory adherence
  • Directs pricing governance and contract administration, including distributor agreements, rebate management, chargebacks, and customer compliance
  • Calculates and submits required U.S. government pricing reports (e.g., NFAMP, FCP)
  • Ensures accuracy and regulatory adherence for government pricing reports
  • Implements and operationalizes new pricing structures, membership agreements, and commercial contracts
  • Oversees sales analytics and reporting infrastructure
  • Manages data sources and remote analyst teams to deliver actionable insights
  • Partners with the GM and Sales Leadership on incentive compensation reporting and commercial performance tracking
  • Collaborates with Quality Assurance to maintain rigorous regulatory standards across 3PL and distribution operations
  • Maintains alignment globally with Quality Assurance standards
  • Proactively identifies and mitigates compliance, logistics, and operational risks
  • Embeds continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen efficiency, scalability, and control
