Senior Business Operations Associate

Home SolutionsRaleigh, NC

About The Position

Home Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Operations Associate to help drive high-impact initiatives across our business. This is a true business generalist role designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to operate at the center of a fast-growing company. You’ll work directly with senior leadership to tackle high-stakes questions, pressure-test ideas, and turn analysis into execution. Some weeks you’ll be deep in the numbers. Other weeks you’ll build new tools to grow the business. The common thread: you own outcomes. As a Senior Business Ops Associate, you will identify opportunities, analyze trade-offs, and execute initiatives that meaningfully grow revenue, margins, operational efficiency, and long-term scalability. We are seeking someone who can get under the hood of the business to understand what’s driving revenue and costs — and help us double down on what works. Projects may span growth strategy, pricing, unit economics, vendor performance, customer experience, new market expansion, cost optimization, and process design. This role is ideal for someone with experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy, or high-growth operating environments who now wants to move from advising to building — owning initiatives from insight through implementation. You will not be confined to a single function. Within your first year, you will have led multiple initiatives with measurable P&L impact, improved key company KPIs such as revenue growth or margin expansion, and earned the trust of senior leadership as a go-to problem solver for complex, ambiguous challenges. You will have built scalable systems and processes that strengthen the business long term and demonstrated sound judgment and ownership required to run critical parts of the organization with increasing autonomy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong record of academic and professional achievement.
  • 2–4 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy, business operations, or a high-growth operating role.
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong business judgment — able to connect data to operational and financial outcomes.
  • Experience building models, analyzing unit economics, or evaluating business performance.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-moving environments.
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex projects with tangible outcomes.
  • Clear, direct communicator who can influence senior stakeholders.
  • AI-native mindset — comfortable leveraging emerging tools to improve speed, insight, and output.
  • Competitive, high-ownership mentality with a bias toward action.
  • Intellectual curiosity on how digital marketplaces scale and eager to learn new growth levers is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in digital marketing or marketplace businesses is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, test, and launch new growth channels that drive audience expansion and incremental revenue.
  • Identify where we can unlock revenue, improve margins, or eliminate inefficiencies — then help execute.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and design scalable processes to support your P&L’s growth.
  • Build business cases for new investments, product expansions, and market opportunities.
  • Evaluate marketplace performance across both consumer and service provider dynamics.
  • Build the models, dashboards, and tools we need to make smarter decisions.
  • Hypothesize, test, and launch UX improvements across our web properties.
  • Monitor core P&L KPIs and proactively surface risks, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities.
  • Turn ambiguous questions into structured analyses and clear action plans.
  • AI super-user — you experiment with LLMs and automation tools instinctively to move faster and smarter.
  • This role combines analytical rigor with real ownership. You will not simply present recommendations — you will help implement them.

  • health, medical, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) match
  • short-term disability coverage
  • cell phone reimbursement
  • flexible time off
  • a bi-annual $500 Relax & Recharge bonus
