About The Position

The Windows Cloud Experiences (WCX) organization is hiring a Senior Business Manager to join its Executive Office. This role manages people, non-people, and discretionary budgets and provides reporting and insights that help leaders make informed workforce and investment decisions. It works closely with the Chief of Staff, CVP, leadership team, Finance, HR, Global Talent Acquisition, Procurement, engineering and product leaders, budget champions, and administrative partners. The role combines horizontal and vertical responsibilities. It contributes to WCX financial governance, workforce practices, reporting, AI-enabled process improvement, and cross-team initiatives, while supporting aligned leadership teams with their workforce and budget portfolios. Day to day, the work moves between financial analysis, data reconciliation, leadership reporting, workforce and funding actions, partner problem-solving, and support for organizational transitions. This opportunity is well suited to someone with solid financial and analytical judgment, exceptional organization and attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to create clarity when information is incomplete. Success means leaders have reliable workforce and budget information, risks and choices are communicated early, actions close on time, and recurring work becomes simpler and more scalable. This role is based in Washington, but is designated as a mostly remote position. Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
