Job Summary The Senior Specialist, Business Intelligence is a Techno-Business SME and evangelist on data, services, and tools to accelerate the organization's adoption of data-driven decision-making and analytical capabilities. This role represents the team in multi-department discussions around the Reporting ecosystem and analytical tools, maximizing the business impact of these assets and tools. This role is within the technology department.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, Dataiku, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Microsoft BI, Spotfire tools, ETL Tools (SSAS, SSIS).
- 5+ years of experience in bank card/credit card, consulting, retail, marketing, loyalty, and/or financial services is a plus.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, Business, Finance
- Master’s Degree in a related field.
- MicroStrategy certification is a plus.
- AWS certification is a plus.
- An additional 2-4 years of experience post-Masters.
- Advanced proficiency in the tools mentioned above.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a department/domain expert for Reporting, Data, Data Infrastructure, and Tools. Utilize Dataiku, SQL, Tableau, MicroStrategy, and Excel to improve efficiency. - (40%)
- Educate and train teams on Reporting, Data, Data Infrastructure, and Tools. Drive organizational adoption within specific domains/departments. - (30%)
- Lead or collaborate on projects to enhance the business impact of the Self-Service Data ecosystem and BI Tools. - (20%)
- Innovate and develop advanced solutions. Solve complex problems independently and mentor junior analysts. - (10%)
