About The Position

The role is responsible for collecting and documenting detailed business requirements for analytics, translating them into mockups for data visualizations, and collaborating closely with technical and business teams to design, build, and implement effective SaaS data analytics solutions across Finance, HR, Legal, Projects, and Procurement. Being able to gather requirements and work with technical teams to leverage data from source systems like Workday, ServiceNow, and Salesforce is key to delivering on the data and analytics roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for new analytics dashboards and reporting features, specifically utilizing SaaS data from Finance, HR, Legal, Projects, and Procurement.
  • Conduct interviews and analysis sessions to understand current business processes and future analytics needs sourced from systems including Workday, ServiceNow, and Salesforce.
  • Translate documented requirements into functional specifications and mockup analytics dashboards using the Amazon Quick Suite (formerly Quicksights) front-end platform.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, implementation, integration and transformation, working specifically with the Snowflake back-end platform and various source systems.
  • Act as the functional subject matter expert (SME) during the design, development, and implementation phases of new analytics capabilities.
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating SaaS source data into the analytics platform.
  • Help business stakeholders test the analytics solutions by creating detailed testing scenarios and supporting the full business testing cycle.
  • Develop detailed test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions to ensure delivered analytics meet requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage and prioritize defects and enhancements identified during the testing phase.
  • Create training materials and support documentation for end-users on new dashboards and analytical reports.
  • Act as an ambassador to promote and educate the enterprise on the available analytics service offering.
  • Mentor/coach citizen developers in business teams
