About The Position
Roche Diagnostics Corporation seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at its Indianapolis, Indiana location. This role involves leading business intelligence (BI) analytics initiatives as the embedded BI domain expert on the supply chain team. The analyst will build robust, reliable, and professional analytics solutions and models, converting proof-of-concept models into scalable, user-friendly products. Responsibilities include providing recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge, collaborating with cross-functional groups to create analytics tools and reporting dashboards, and partnering with global supply chain and BI professionals to exchange best practices. The role also involves providing training on analytics and reporting tools, consulting with users, and leading cross-functional teams to address business issues and produce data sets and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Business Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, MIS, IT, Engineering or a closely related discipline
- 5 years of post-baccalaureate and progressive experience as a Business Analyst, Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Analyst or closely related position
- Professional experience in supply chain business process technical management tools
- Professional experience in SQL Server
- Professional experience in business intelligence analysis in areas such as health diagnostics, medical devices, consumer goods pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, financial services, legal, manufacturing, or consulting
- Professional experience examining business intelligence and metrics data
- Professional experience in stakeholder management
- Professional experience in project management
Responsibilities
- Lead the business intelligence (BI) analytics initiatives as the embedded business intelligence domain expert on the supply chain team.
- Build robust, reliable, professional analytics solutions and models.
- Convert proof-of-concept models gathered from team members (supply and demand planners and their leaders) into scalable, user-friendly products.
- Provide recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross functional groups to create analytics tools and reporting dashboards that enable internal teams to proactively manage the supply and enhance the customer experience.
- Partner with affiliates’ global network of supply chain and BI professionals to exchange best practices to have tangible impact on customers and patients.
- Provide training on analytics and reporting tools in sessions at various scales.
- Provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues and produce data sets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
