About The Position

Attensi is a global tech company specializing in gamified simulation training. Since 2012, Attensi has expanded globally, with solutions used by major brands in over 150 countries and 50+ languages. Their training combines gamification, realistic interactive scenarios, and decision-driven dialogues powered by proprietary game AI to create immersive, hands-on learning experiences. Attensi works with large brands in sectors like energy, retail, hospitality, pharma, and professional services. With over 220 employees across Europe and the US, Attensi is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking motivated, ambitious, and commercially curious Senior Business Development Representatives to establish and scale its outbound business development practice in the US. This role is a unique opportunity to be the first Senior BDR in Boston, aiming to replicate the success of the London BDR function while adapting it for the North American market. The primary focus is on creating quality pipelines through hands-on activities such as account research, prospecting, messaging testing, and meeting booking. The role is part of an energetic commercial team, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Enablement to support North American ambitions. The position reports to the US BDR Team Lead, working closely with the team lead and the wider go-to-market team to implement proven processes, enhance outbound execution, and help shape the future Boston BDR team.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a BDR, SDR or in a similar B2B prospecting role, ideally within SaaS, technology or a high-growth environment.
  • Practical experience of outbound prospecting, including calling, personalized email and structured sales sequences.
  • A track record of turning prospecting activity into qualified meetings, pipeline or revenue opportunities.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales engagement or prospecting tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • High energy, motivated and solution-oriented, with a genuine interest in business development and sales.
  • Commercially curious, with an instinct to understand a prospect and their challenges before deciding how to approach them.
  • Confident communicating through phone, email and LinkedIn, and comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
  • A strong communicator who can write clearly, asks good questions and explain value without relying on a script.
  • Highly organized, with the discipline to manage activity, follow-up and accurate CRM records.
  • Data-aware and keen to use feedback and conversion insight to improve your performance.
  • Coachable, proactive and resilient, with the energy to keep learning in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated by the opportunity to help establish a new team and set a high bar from day one.

  • Experience prospecting into enterprise or multi-site organizations, or working across international teams, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Take a hands-on role in outbound prospecting, including account research, personalised outreach, calling, sequencing and booking qualified discovery meetings.
  • Build targeted account and contact lists across agreed US sectors, identifying the right personas, buying committees and reasons to engage, in collaboration with sales team and sector leaders.
  • Test and refine messaging, targeting and outreach approaches to understand what resonates with US prospects.
  • Build quality pipeline by creating relevant conversations with target organisations and senior decision-makers.
  • Work closely with AEs, EAEs, VPs and sector leaders to align on priority accounts, qualification criteria and handover quality.
  • Maintain excellent CRM hygiene and accurately track prospecting activity, qualification notes and pipeline progression.
  • Share learnings with Sales, Marketing and Revenue Operations to improve campaigns, conversion and outbound effectiveness.
  • Follow and contribute to best practice for the US BDR motion, including outreach standards, messaging frameworks and qualification approaches.
  • Contribute to a positive, ambitious and high-performance BDR culture in Boston.
