About The Position

Flintco, LLC has an opening for a Senior Business Development Manager in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for initiating and cultivating new business with South Korean companies investing in development projects, and maintaining relationships with potential and repeat customers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors within a particular geographic location or segment of the company, in cooperation with corporate goals and the marketing plans of the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. The position involves developing strategies to gain access and acquire business relationships with South Korean companies investing in North and South America, performing research and client contact to identify and prioritize potential South Korean markets and customers, and driving growth by identifying and leading pursuits of potential project leads that align with strategic goals. The manager will determine client needs, evaluate company resources and capabilities, and meet with client management to explain the company's culture, policies, skills, resources, and capabilities. This role also assists in the development of company marketing plans and goals, and strategy for client contacts regarding new and future work potential. The Senior Business Development Manager will call on architects, engineers, and subcontractors to stay informed of forthcoming projects, notify the area leadership team of sales activities and proposal/bid submittal timing, identify new work leads, and manage lead follow-up and CRM database tools. The role assists in the implementation of business development action plans, provides data for regional office overhead budgets, and performs added assignments as directed. The position models and reinforces safety as a top priority, ensures client satisfaction, prepares operations team members for presentations, and plans, executes, and manages budgets for client functions, sponsorships, fundraising, and community events. The role also manages expense reports and mileage tracking. Fluency in Korean is required. Frequent international travel may be required to South Korea and Canada.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in International Studies, Business Administration, or related.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered, Global Sales Professional, or related.
  • 5 years must include experience with: Marketing or sales functions.
  • 5 years must include experience with: Managing expense reports and mileage tracking.
  • 5 years must include experience with: Reading, analyzing, and interpreting documents related to project management such as requests for proposals (RFP), and requests for qualifications (RFQ).
  • 5 years must include experience with: Writing routine reports and correspondence related to project management.
  • 5 years must include experience with: Reading and analyzing Business plans, Commercial Invoices.
  • 5 years must include experience with: Presenting information to groups of clients, employees of organizations, or top management regarding ISO Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the implementation of business development action plans formulated by the corporate business development group.
  • Providing data and assistance in establishing regional office overhead budgets with the area leadership team.
  • Performing added assignments at supervisor's direction.

  • Ensuring client satisfaction, both internally and externally, through positive, pleasant, professional, and efficient handling of issues.
