About The Position

Presidio is seeking a driven, energetic, and commercially minded Senior Business Development Manager to join its growing international sales team. Based in the United States, this role is focused exclusively on winning net-new business, targeting US-headquartered companies with operations, offices, or procurement needs in Europe. The role involves overseeing targeted sales activity within new and existing customer bases in the EMEA region, primarily focused on the European market. This is an end-user IT procurement sales role where the candidate will sell Presidio's full hardware portfolio, including end-user computing, AV equipment, and data center infrastructure, to enterprise and mid-market clients who require a trusted single partner to manage their US and European technology procurement. The ideal candidate is a proven hunter with enterprise IT sales experience, a track record of building pipeline from zero, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder procurement decisions across geographies. The role requires close collaboration with Presidio's European business development team to ensure seamless execution for clients operating across borders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant commercial or technology discipline.
  • 7+ years of business development or enterprise sales experience, with a clear track record of winning net-new logos — not account management or renewals.
  • Demonstrated experience selling end user hardware and/or data center infrastructure to enterprise clients.
  • Experience working with, or selling into, US companies that have significant European operations and multi-country procurement requirements, strongly desired.
  • A strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a pure new business development role.
  • Experience building and managing a structured sales pipeline, with confidence in forecasting and commercial qualification disciplines.
  • Customer Presentation skills: presentation collation and material with the confidence and ability to deliver at all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's reputation, and promote Presidio’s IT Procurement Offering.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and close net-new enterprise and mid-market clients — US-headquartered companies with European operations that require hardware procurement across multiple countries.
  • Develop business through multiple marketing and sales techniques including working with Account Directors to sell End User Devices into existing Presidio customers, conducting in person meetings, cold calling, presenting and partnering with vendors or manufactures.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and sales opportunities.
  • Build and execute a structured outbound prospecting plan, using a combination of cold calling, personalized email outreach, and LinkedIn to engage key personas & decision makers at target accounts.
  • Develop a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities at all times, progressing deals through a structured sales process from initial discovery through to close.
  • Qualify opportunities thoroughly — establishing customer need, budget, decision-making process, timeline, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and present compelling proposals and engage with subject matter experts to develop business opportunities throughout the sales cycle. Build & present enterprise proposals including end-to-end lifecycle sand multi-region and multi-country managed procurement frameworks.
  • Build deep, executive-level relationships within target accounts — becoming a trusted advisor on technology procurement strategy, refresh planning, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with Presidio's European, US & APAC business development teams to coordinate in-country engagement and ensure smooth delivery across all client locations.
  • Engage Presidio's vendor partners — including Apple, Dell, Lenovo, HP, and Cisco — to develop compelling proposals and leverage co-sell programmes.
  • Represent Presidio at relevant industry events, technology forums, and vendor partner events both in the US and, where appropriate, in Europe.
  • Initiate the expansion motion — identifying additional hardware categories, additional European offices, and lifecycle management or additional regional opportunities within the account.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM pipeline at all times, with all opportunities correctly staged and next steps clearly logged.
  • Deliver a Quarterly Business Outlook (QBO) to the International Business Development Director, covering pipeline performance, key opportunities, wins, and the outlook for the coming quarter.
  • Produce and maintain an accurate rolling sales forecast, updated regularly and reviewed with your manager on a weekly basis.
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue and gross margin targets as agreed with management, demonstrating consistent performance across new logo acquisition and deal value.
  • Work collaboratively with Presidio's internal teams — sales support, customer success, pre-sales, logistics, and finance — to ensure proposals are commercially sound and deliverable.
  • Operate with a team mindset, sharing knowledge, market intelligence, and best practice with colleagues across the US and European sales teams.
