About The Position

Join the Automations and AI team at RTX and play a central role in driving enterprise-wide transformation across business functions in a leading defense and aerospace organization. As a Senior Business Analyst with a focus on business process management (BPM), you will partner with the business to elicit, analyze and document business and functional requirements, optimize processes, and translate needs into thoughtfully architected technology solutions. Technical teams and business stakeholders alike will rely on you to transform complex concepts into shared understanding, leading to a great collaboration and an exceptional final product.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of applicable experience with at least 2 years of experience focused on business process management (BPM) or automation & AI
Expertise with agile methodology and software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) models
Prior experience writing requirements as clear, well-structured User Stories with concise, testable acceptance criteria
Prior experience eliciting and documenting functional requirements for digital solutions
Experience using project management software, specifically Jira

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted partner between business stakeholders and technical teams
Lead requirements workshops, asking thoughtful questions to uncover true business needs
Identify opportunities for process optimization while anticipating and mitigating risks
Translate and document business needs into concise functional requirements and clearly communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Manage requirements traceability and changes throughout the delivery lifecycle
Author detailed test scripts and ensure test coverage aligns with documented requirements
Support User Acceptance Testing and planning, including testing materials, coordination and defect triage
Support Agile and Hybrid delivery models utilizing JIRA for requirements management
