About The Position

This role requires a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in requirements elicitation, SDLC management, business process improvement, and user story/use case development. The analyst will be responsible for designing mockups and wireframes, facilitating stakeholder communication, and producing technical documentation.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in eliciting requirements from interviews with customers and creating well-written system requirements documents.
• 8 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• 8 years of experience in business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement.
• 8 years of experience in the development of user stories and use cases that conform to business analysis best practices.
• 8 years of experience in designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices.
• 5 years of experience in demonstrating strong communication and facilitation skills.
• 5 years of experience in demonstrating strong writing and organization skills.

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of documented work experience with the requirements management software "Modern Requirements".
• 3 years of documented work experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira".
• 2 years of documented experience working for or closely with TEA or another state or local education agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth interviews with customers to elicit requirements and create comprehensive system requirements documents.
• Lead and manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Drive business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency.
• Develop detailed user stories and use cases that adhere to business analysis best practices.
• Design intuitive mockups and wireframes that align with user experience (UX) best practices.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Produce well-organized and articulate technical documentation.
