The Senior Enterprise Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting enterprise-level initiatives by leading vendor due diligence and selection efforts, establishing and standardizing business requirements practices and partnering with IT to define enterprise testing and quality assurance standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in an operations role, preferably within the banking or regulated industry.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, business requirements development, and enterprise project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools.
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
  • Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills
  • Proficiency in analyzing, interpreting, and implementing strategy
  • Proficient composition skills
  • Proficient PC skills
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and lift items weighing 75 lbs. or less

  • Individuals must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for a work visa by Mid Penn Bank currently or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and facilitates vendor due diligence and selection processes for all critical enterprise vendors.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes, templates, and tools for business requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Leads the business requirements workstream for enterprise-level projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder needs.
  • Partners with IT and QA teams to define and implement enterprise-wide testing standards and quality assurance practices.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to business project team members in the development of test plans, test scripts, and test procedures.
  • Manages medium-scale enterprise-level projects or workstreams within large-scale, complex enterprise initiatives.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
  • Maintains accurate project documentation including schedules, status reports, and action logs.
  • Provides regular updates to stakeholders and PMO leadership.
  • Contributes to PMO reporting standards and helps refine templates and tools.
  • Ensures compliance with EPMO governance and project management standards as outlined in the EPMO Charter
  • Collaborates with project teams to embed process optimization into project delivery and ensure alignment with EPMO governance.
  • Supports the EPMO’s mission to improve project success rates, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment.
  • Identifies and mitigates project risks; manages scope changes and dependencies.
  • Ensures adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Works closely with the PMO Director and Senior Project Managers to align priorities and delivery expectations.
  • Shares lessons learned and contributes to team knowledge base.
  • Communicates with direct supervisor, other managers, and appropriate staff personnel to integrate activities.
  • Provides consistent communication and direction to employees involved in or affected by a project, ensuring those involved maintain a thorough understanding of the strategies and goals for a project, as well as their individual role supporting that project.
  • Is present and available to employees most impacted by assigned projects.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Consults with different department subject matter experts to analyze current workflow processes that are costly in resources and/or time to develop and design efficiencies.
