About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Axiom Regulatory Reporting practice. In this client-facing role, you will partner directly with financial institutions to design, implement, and optimize regulatory reporting solutions on the Axiom platform. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through complex data and reporting requirements while ensuring alignment with U.S. regulatory expectations and industry best practices. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting within banking, broker-dealer, or financial services — ideally in a business analyst, consulting, or reporting operations capacity.
  • Strong business foundation with a solid understanding of financial products, balance sheet composition, and accounting concepts.
  • Technology-literate: comfortable working with large datasets, reading SQL, understanding data models, and collaborating with technical teams (deep coding expertise not required).
  • Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to interpret regulatory instructions and translate them into practical reporting solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following U.S. regulatory reporting areas: Regulatory Capital (Basel III / Basel 3EG, RWA calculations, FFIEC 101), U.S. Liquidity Reporting (LCR, NSFR, FR 2052a), Broker-Dealer Reporting and Calculations (Net Capital / Rule 15c3-1, Customer Reserve / Rule 15c3-3, FOCUS reports), Bank Holding Company and Call Reports — FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031/041, and related schedules, CCAR / DFAST stress testing and related submissions (FR Y-14A/Q/M).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to gather, analyze, and document data and reporting requirements for regulatory submissions.
  • Translate complex regulatory rules into clear functional specifications and configuration approaches within the Axiom platform.
  • Advise clients on industry best practices, implementation strategies, and process improvements across their regulatory reporting operations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on U.S. regulatory frameworks, interpreting rules and guidance from the Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC, SEC, and FINRA.
  • Perform data analysis, source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, and variance analysis to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.
  • Support user acceptance testing, production parallel runs, and go-live activities.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, methodology development, and teaming up with senior SMEs.
