About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst for Procurement Data position at Gulfstream focuses on supporting the enterprise supply chain organization, including procurement, logistics, and materials. This role involves interacting with various levels of the organization and preparing detailed reports for C-suite leadership. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong analytical and data skills, experience with SAP, Corridor, Power BI, and BOBJ, and a solid understanding of procurement processes and strategies. The position requires the ability to think creatively, balance detailed analysis with a high-level perspective, and connect data insights to broader projects and organizational initiatives. While coding is not a primary requirement, some light coding may be involved. Procurement or supply chain knowledge is a significant advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT related, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6 years of experience in an analytical or technical support function or general data analysis/extraction experience.
  • Experience with SAP, Corridor, Power BI, and BOBJ.
  • Strong analytical and data skills.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes and strategies.
  • Ability to think creatively and approach challenges from new angles.
  • Ability to balance detailed analysis with a high-level perspective.
  • Possesses agility for learning technical and business concepts.
  • Understands the application of data information to support business functions.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Detailed oriented with an ability to meet critical deadlines and manage multiple assignments and priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and databases.
  • Working knowledge of data reporting/analysis tools and techniques and leveraging databases.
  • Working knowledge of identifying, documenting, and analyzing business and/or data requirements.
  • Working knowledge of data extraction techniques and applications.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

  • An understanding of data aggregation/manipulation through table joins/queries and database design.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers business requirements by defining the business problem, identifying data requirements, and isolating data elements.
  • Maintains and assists in the development of moderately complex business solutions, including data, reporting, business intelligence, or analytics.
  • Performs data analysis, extraction, and delivery activities.
  • Supports the execution of information and data.
  • Leverages a basic understanding of multiple data structures and sources to perform moderate complex data manipulation using standard data extraction and analytical tools and techniques.
  • Develops intermediate business knowledge of the functional area and processes to understand the application of data information to support business functions.
  • Supports the implementation of technical data solutions and standards.
  • Supports data governance, integrity, quality, and audit functions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
