We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst, OPL to join our growing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or equivalent); CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in functional analysis and process improvement.
  • Advanced Excel and the Oracle ecosystem (EPCM, EPBCS, Smart View).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; solution-oriented mindset.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and a strong team player.
  • Excellent time and priority management; ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Very strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Cost allocation and financial controls: Partner with regional Finance teams to ensure the accuracy of month-end and budget allocations. Validate allocations, maintain a strong internal control environment, and keep complete documentation (processes, controls, supporting evidence). Support the implementation of new or revised accounting standards and serve as a key contact for internal and external auditors.
  • Tools, data, and operational efficiency: Maintain and enhance the Oracle EPCM cost allocation tool (including continuous process improvement). Ensure smooth and reliable data flow throughout the budgeting cycle between Finance, Actuarial, and stakeholders.
  • Business analysis and stakeholder engagement: Act as a bridge between business teams, IT, end users, and leadership. Gather, structure, and document requirements (interviews, workshops), and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations. Facilitate cross-functional workshops and support alignment across business, technology, and support teams.
  • Projects, change, and quality assurance: Plan and coordinate initiatives related to organizational changes (impacts, communications, adoption). Support Quality Assurance (QA): test preparation, planning, and execution.
